“It was scary relinquishing my inbox to anyone. I felt I would lose control and miss something. I was forced to do this recently as I knew I would have no access to WIFI for 2 weeks while I was away on holiday. Carol and I had a chat about what I needed her to do and she suggested adding a few new folders to my inbox where she would file everything that needed attention and action on my return, and another where she would respond on my behalf and file anything I may want to read. I was amazed by the results. Not only did it take me less time to action urgent matters, I didn’t miss anything. All it did was make me more efficient and profesional. I have asked Carol to continue to ‘have my back’ and check my emails and action where necessary. It’s freed up so much time, I’m sorry I didn’t think of this sooner. Thank you”
